About Our Handmade Jewellery

My name is Alicia. I make jewellery that means something.

Not because meaning is a marketing strategy. Because it always has been — long before Zaneti Co existed.

I completed a Diploma in Engineering Technology in Jewellery and Advanced Studies, then spent four years in a trade apprenticeship. I learned the traditional way, under the guidance of a trade jeweller, finishing all my trade work before life took me somewhere else entirely.

Big decisions. A move to the Northern Territory. A family. Years of making jewellery quietly, for myself, as a hobby — the tools never far away, the impulse never completely gone.

Then Covid changed everything.

My daughter had grown. I had time, and a need for something creative and intentional. I came back to the bench — not knowing where it would lead, only knowing I needed to create.

What emerged was Zaneti Co.

The name is not accidental.

Zaneti means awareness in Kurdish. Co was added intentionally, chosen for numerology. Every element of this brand is considered — right down to its name.

Joy of Living has been a personal mantra for many years. Warmth. Knowing. Acknowledgement. The belief that beauty, meaning and creativity are not luxuries — they are part of what makes life worth living.

That philosophy lives in every piece I make.

I don't follow trends. I don't make the same piece twice. For now, I am not taking commissions. This season is for making what feels true to me — finding my own rhythm and creative language before I open that door. The irregularities you see are intentional. The marks of human hands are the point.

After 25 years of working with metal, I am still learning, still evolving, still making things that feel true.

If a piece speaks to you — it was made for someone like you.
